Beaded Behind Bars helps those on the inside, support their families on the outside. Our handmade items are created by incarcerated individuals. Money goes to supporting their families, providing gifts for their families, and help ease the burden on their families. Doing crafting and helping provide for their families has become therapeutic for these individuals. It has helped with slowing recidivism and provides a sense of accomplishment for them as well.
One customer wrote "Thank you for the beautiful earrings. I love them!" Another has stated the work is "Clean" and some of the "Best beadwork I've seen".
